Corresponding to session 6.3 of GA THE INTERVIEW
A reporter is interviewing Dr. Lawson, a famous writer, for a scientific magazine.
Reporter: -Tell me Dr. Lawson, what have you done recently?
Dr. Lawson: - I've done some research. I took a lot of notes, as you can see. In fact, I've written a couple of papers for the scientific community. Ah! And I've just finished a book.
Dr. Lawson: -Well, it's about the Egyptian art of embalming dead bodies called "mummification".
Reporter: -You've just come back from Egypt, haven't you?
Dr. Lawson: -Yes, I have. I... lived there for more than three years.
Reporter: - How long have you worked on this project?
Dr. Lawson: -We've been doing research at the museums, since 1990. We have read hundreds of ancient documents on the Egyptian civilization.
Reporter: - Who organized the material?
Dr. Lawson: - My assistant and I did. She has helped me a lot during these years.
Reporter: - Has your assistant learned much about life in ancient Egypt?
Dr Lawson: - Yes, she has, but she says she hasn't learned enough. She hasn't mastered the technique of interpreting their writing yet. And she hasn't done enough field work yet.
Reporter: -Thank you very much for answering our questions.
Talking about accomplishments and failures.
