12. A trip through time

Corresponding to session 6.12 of GA A TRIP THROUGH TIME

Mr. Berns: -Excellent, Dr. Martin! We have planned everything carefully. Now, it's time to leave.

Dr. Martin: - I'm not so sure, Mr. Berns. Have you brought the camera with you?

Mr. Berns: -Sure, and plenty of film, too.

Narrator: - At that moment, Mr. Berns and Dr. Martin entered their machine and started a wonderful trip through time arriving somewhere sometime during the Jurassic Age...

Mr. Berns: -That's it. But, where are we?

Dr. Martin: -According to the indicator we are in... Oh! It stopped. I don't know exactly where we are.

Mr. Berns: - You've made another mistake! Again? Well, the only way to find out where we are is to go out and see what we find.

Dr. Martin: -0 K. Let's do that. It looks like a jungle. But the plants are very strange, aren't they?

Mr. Berns: - They're huge! Did you see the enormous animal that ran past us a moment ago? What was it?

Dr Martin: - Yes, I saw it. It was some kind of dinosaur. Dinosaurs were the biggest animals on earth, but they became extinct. Some of them were carnivorous and others were herbivorous, but all of them were the most amazing creatures.

Mr. Berns: - I think they may be dangerous. I'll take some pictures and then we'll go back home.

Dr. Martin: - While you take the pictures, I'll see if I can fix the indicator.

Mr. Berns: -0 K.

Narrator: - Once again our friends traveled in time. But now, to the year 2025...

Mr. Berns: -By any chance, do you know where we are?

Dr. Martin: -Of course. We are exactly in the year 2025. It's August 4.

Mr. Berns: -Look! Everything is different: cars fly, factories don't pollute the environment, people use atomic energy for useful purposes, and buildings look so different!

Dr. Martin: -Yes it seems that life in the future will be great. Do you want to take some more pictures?

Mr. Berns: -Yes, I will, because my friends won't believe it.
